Assalaamu Alaikum.
We are really excited about this project. As you know, a Muslim community cannot exist in a non-Islamic environment for very long without some level of Islamic education and Tarbiyah.

Despite 150 full time Islamic schools and more than 1500 Sunday schools less than 12% of the Muslim children will have an opportunity to attend these Islamic institutions. There are about 50 to 60,000 young Muslims graduating from North American colleges and universities but only 10% are involved in Islamic activities after graduation.

Islamic education for Muslim converts is almost nonexistent. It is not surprising that 40% or more of those who convert to Islam revert back to their old ways or are alienated due to the lack of basic Islamic education and support.

For the non-Muslims there is no formal access to learn about Islam. Indeed, this is a great challenge.

Alhamdulillah, the pioneering Internet Islamic University has started its operations on a limited scale but there is a long way to go in completing and continuing to nurture this project. We need your help and financial assistance.

Charity and giving is an important part of being a Muslim. Rich or poor, all are required to give for good cause. We urge you to donate generously; pay your Zakah in this blessed month of Ramadan, TODAY.
